Following the success of last year’s celebration, the city of Manchester will today host Delia Derbyshire Day 2014. Taking place at the Anthony Burgess Foundation from 7.30pm, there’s all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff going on, including “To an Independent Listener – a 45 minute audio-visual collage by Delia Derbyshire researcher David Butler and film maker Sarah Hill which takes the audience on a journey through the freelance work in the Delia Derbyshire Archive.”
