A quick rundown of Monday’s Bloomsbury shindig, accompanied by the photo documentation of Neil ‘Tomo’ Thomson
This week, under cover of near total darkness, we staged our first ever event at iconic central London arts space The Horse Hospital. Our thanks go to Sholto at the venue, Will Burns, Martha Sprackland, Adam O’Riordan, Ultramarine, Kate Carr, Nick Luscombe, and, of course, our audience.
Of special note was a brand new lycanthropic poem from Martha, as well as a showcase of Kate’s lesser-known photographic and cinematic skills – which came as an added bonus to the mesmerising field recordings we already knew and loved. (We also now know, thanks to interviewer Nick’s line of questioning, that she is particularly fond of the sound of fences.)
We’ll be horsing around the place again next month, when we return for a collaborative event with Strange Attractor Press, featuring witchcraft, spiders…and a talking mongoose. You can find more info and tickets here.
