“Morning sunlight fractures and shimmers through the old, drafty windows of the Victorian tenement block where I live. Where many have lived before me. When the clouds allow, the sun reaches the perfect height and sends hypnotising patterns of colour to my living room wall.

I was drawn to the simple idea of combining this rare, beautiful occurrence with the paling ghost of the past. Fragments of a fading memory embalmed in a moment that, perhaps, never really existed at all?”
