Yesterday we got wind of something very exciting. The Willowherb Review, set up by Jessica J. Lee, is a new online journal setting out to diversify the nature writing world.

‘The notion that the New Nature Writing has a diversity problem is not new’, says the journal’s Kickstarter page, ‘…The Willowherb Review aims to provide an initial platform to celebrate and bolster nature writing by emerging and established writers of colour.’

By donating to the Willowherb Kickstarter campaign, pledgers will help to pay writers and editorial assistants, as well as covering the running costs of the website.
