Caught by the River

A letter from Charles Rangeley-Wilson

Charles Rangeley-Wilson | 10th April 2018

Hi Jeff,

This is from across the pond but a good pal of mine – and a fishing writer too – is running a short story competition with Flyfishing & Tying Journal. 3000 words of fiction wrapped around fly fishing. If it’s good enough for Hemingway…

It’s the Sheridan Anderson Memorial Short Story Contest … and if you haven’t heard of the Curtis Creek Manifesto by Sheridan Anderson, it’s something you should look into. Sort of Bernard Venables meets Richard Brautigan and together they do LSD. (image attached)

Anyway, maybe this is worth an entry on the blog? The winner gets published in the winter issue.

Hope all is well.

Best fishes,

Charles (Rangeley-Wilson)

He also loved a good story.
