With Port Eliot festival almost upon us, we thought the ticket holders amongst you would appreciate a look at the daily schedules for our stage. We’re pretty sure this is solid and we don’t expect any changes, but do keep an eye on the blackboards out front for any updates over the weekend.
In addition to the wealth of talent listed below, there’ll be vintage tunage from the roving 78rpm Orchestra, DJs in the bar from noon ’til 3am, and a variety of workshops on the riverbank. Full details of who does what can be found here.
THURSDAY
The riverside bar by the boathouse opens for business at noon, but our main tent activity kicks off, as always, with Stephen ‘Spoonful’ Parker’s First Tune at 3pm. After Stephen’s spun a few, John Andrews, MC for the weekend, will make his introductory speech. Then, in a break from tradition, we dive straight into live music, teaming up with our close associates Heavenly Recordings to present a bunch of bands from their current roster, plus a very special guest act to kicks things off:
