We’ve been so up to our necks in top drawer content this last couple of weeks that we’ve not yet managed to thank everyone involved in making April’s sold out Neu! Reekie! event happen. Thanks, then, to everyone whose energies went into organising, performing at, and attending our Little Portland Street shindig. And good news: whether you missed out or had the time of your life, we’ll be teaming up with our Scottish pals again before too long as part of their Hull 2017 UK City of Culture programme. Drop into our free event on Sunday 4 June and lend your ears to John Andrews, Martha Sprackland, Will Burns and Adelle Stripe, who’ll be helping us celebrate 10 years of Caught by the River. (Please note that booking is essential.)
Thanks too to everyone who filled the Centrespace Gallery in Bristol last weekend to witness memorable performances by Daniel Bachman & Jake Xerxes Fussell. This was the first event we put on in partnership with Friendly Records (Bedminster’s finest record shop) and it won’t be the last. Props to Tom and Daisy. Special shout out to Nick and Harriet Hand for being brilliant — and heartiest congratulations to Nick for hitting the crowdfunding target for his Journeyman project! You can find more info about that here.
