If you have small crop of pine trees nearby you may already be acquainted with the delightful Siskin. A sound northerner who has a habit of leaving the woods to pop in on local bird feeders and relieve them of nuts and seeds. Think of a Greenfinch’s small Scottish cousin heading out on a winter break.
