Quick note about the above image. Jeff and I spent an inspirational couple of hours with one of our Caught By The River icons on Tuesday when we were invited to the north London studio of artist and designer David Holmes. David is responsible for the design and many of the beautiful illustrations that feature in books like England In Particular and the trio of titles by Roger Deakin. We’ll write more about the meeting – and hopefully start a regular showcase for David’s work – in the coming weeks. In the meantime, thanks massively to him for sending in today’s image. (Robin)
